This is achieved from a traditional washing and finishing treatment which is the only way to give this genuine antiqued finish exactly as it was achieved when printed linen was first processed. The artwork for the designs are taken from antique documents and original vintage fabric archives and have been brought back to life and re-produced for us to enjoy today the qualities of a time gone buy. Izar is a beautiful paisley print that looks very much like it is embroidered onto the cloth. This is a very pretty design and a very good combination to stripes or floral, paisleys give a great extra dimension to a classical scheme.
